The Borough of Gettysburg recently honored the Gettysburg College women’s lacrosse team with the Eddie Plank Athletic Achievement Award, which recognizes teams or individuals for outstanding athletic achievement while representing Gettysburg on the state or national levels. The Borough also declared Nov. 14, 2011 Gettysburg College Women’s Lacrosse Day. The team claimed the NCAA Division III championship last spring. Photo by Corey Jewart
