Students traveled to the San Carlos Apache Reservation during winter break 2010 for an immersion project coordinated by the Center for Public Service. Participants lived with host families, met with reservation leaders, served in offices and schools, and hiked to historic sites. This memorial overlooks the original San Carlos; ‘Old’ San Carlos was flooded for construction of the Hoover Dam. Photo by Elizabeth Miller ’13
