Did you know the library was moved from Schmucker Hall to its current location and renamed Musselman Library? On April 22, 1981, dozens of campus volunteers worked together to transport and shelve approximately 180,000 books and materials. "In a little more than four hours the books were moved and by 6 p.m. the library opened for service," recalled Librarian Emeritus David Hedrick.
