"This picture was taken while studying abroad in Vietnam in Spring 2012," wrote Alyssa Bosold. "Our study abroad group had a chance to meet and interact with a cooperative of H'mong women, making embroidered goods. The H'mong are an ethnic minority group, living primarily in Sapa (where this photo was taken) in Northern Vietnam. The child in this picture belonged to one of the women in the group and was especially interested in making friends with us." Submit your own entry to this year's Photo of the Day contest by Sept. 4.
