Cory Weissman, a former Gettysburg College men's basketball player, was presented with an ambassador award during opening ceremonies for the Adams County Heart & Stroke Walk on Sunday, September 9, 2012. The award, given by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, stated “Through your exemplary efforts, you have made the public aware that stroke can happen to anyone at any time.
