Bright Lights! Big City! is a three-day career networking program that introduces Gettysburg College students to successful alumni and parents in a particular metropolitan area.
This month, students visited the Big Apple to learn about opportunities in accounting, finance, marketing and human resources.
Students visited companies, met graduates and parents at their workplaces, developed a case study presentation, and attended a networking reception with alumni, Gettysburg College trustees, and Interim President Janet Riggs '77.
Bright Lights! Big City! has been running for five years and has taken students to Boston, New York, Washington, and Philadelphia. Trips have explored careers in the sciences, arts, arts management, non profits, public service, Wall Street, food, fashion, event planning, and advertising.
