Spring's beauty adorns Gettysburg College campus; photo gallery

From blossoming trees and bright flowers to the Fencing Club sparring near Pennsylvania Hall and the Tiber running high, springtime brings special life and color to Gettysburg College's historic campus.

Running the gamut from classes meeting outdoors to students relaxing on Stine Lake, a photo gallery presents the campus as the weather warms up and the 2010-2011 academic year draws to a close.

Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition. Alumni include Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate, and other distinguished scholars. The college, which enrolls 2,600 undergraduate students, is located on a 200-acre campus adjacent to the Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania.
