Sarah Principato

Associate Professor of Environmental Studies

Principato's research focuses on glacial geology, glacial sedimentology, and records of climate change. She has worked most extensively with the glacial history of Northwest Iceland, but has also worked in Wisconsin and Maine.

Principato and her students are currently studying Holocene climate history from peat deposits in Maine. Her most recent work was published in Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research.
