Darren Glass

Associate Professor of Mathematics

Professor Glass joined the faculty of Gettysburg in the fall of 2005 after spending three years on the faculty of Columbia University. Before that he was a student at the University of Pennsylvania and Rice University. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Mathematics Department.

Recent Work:

Glass has published more than a dozen papers in his primary research areas of algebraic geometry and number theory and their relationships with codes. He has also published several papers dealing with the relationship between baseball and mathematics as well as the history of mathematics at Gettysburg College. He is a regular book reviewer for the Mathematical Association of America.
