Jacci Clevenger '09
Orientation Leader

Jacci Clevenger is a junior Political Science major and History minor, hailing from the shore town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She is actively involved with Gettysburg's Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, holding the position of Vice President of Service. She also works as a tour guide for the Admissions Office, is on the Campus Activities Board, and tutors elementary school children through Generacion Diez. She will be studying abroad this spring, but is looking forward to meeting Gettysburg's Class of 2012!
Jessica Marshall '11

Jessica Marshall is a member of the class of 2011 and lives in Connecticut. She is declared as an English major with a concentration in creative writing as well as a German minor. In her free time she likes to read and write as well as hang out with her friends. She was born abroad (in England) and loves to travel around and outside of Europe; She works in the Gettysburg Off-Campus Studies office helping other students who also want to study abroad. She's pretty fun and outgoing and always up for a laugh or a good time!
Charles Meehan '11

Charles Meehan is a member of the class of 2011 from Bel Air, MD. In his first year, Charles was elected to be the senator for Huber Hall. Besides the Senate, he is involved with CHEERS and CLAC (College Life Advisory Committee) and is a member of the Attic Advisory Board. He also volunteers his services at a local community center known as El Centro. He enjoys playing rugby and soccer and had a great time playing intramural soccer this past semester
Rebecca Roha '09
Resident Assistant

Rebecca Roha is a Senior Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major from the Pittsburgh area. Her favorite things are chocolate, coffee, books and dogs. She is on the cycling team and is a spinning instructor. She participates in many activism and community service opportunities on campus including Allies. Rebecca studied abroad in Copenhagen during spring of 2008. She is very excited to meet the women of Hanson Basement!

Kate Ayoub is going into her senior year. She is a health science major with an interest in becoming a physical therapist. She is a waitress at Mamie's Cafe and a TIPS server at the Attic. Kate loves long walks on the battlefields, romantic candlelight dinners at SERVO and cannot wait for a new school year to begin!
Nyya Jones '09

Nyya Jones is a senior from East Orange, New Jersey majoring in Sociology and Globalization Studies. Nyya has just completed a year studying abroad in Argentina, where at times, she felt like a first-year all over again in a completely different education system! So she understands the excitement and anxiety that you all have as new Gettysburg students and she hopes to be a help to you all during your Orientation in the Fall.
Matt Redman '10
Orientation Leader

Matt Redman is a junior at Gettysburg College. He is 19 years old from East Granby, CT. Matt is a History major and Education minor and is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He serves on the Honor Commission and the Attic Advisory Board here at the college and participates in most of the intramural sports. Matt enjoys watching movies and sports, playing golf and basketball, and spending time with his friends.

Drew Wolenter is a sophomore who grew up outside Philly in Norristown, PA. Drew loves sports, cheese steaks, and 24; "In Jack We Trust". He is a varsity wrestler, involved in the Campus Activities Board and German Club. Drew plans on teaching high school American History or Mathematics when he graduates.

Chris Bruno '10
Orientation Leader

Chris Bruno is a junior pursuing an Environmental Science major, and an Italian minor from Silver Spring, Maryland. On campus he is involved in the fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha, events in the Attic, and is also on the varsity tennis team. Chris is looking forward to meeting the Class of 2012 and the beginning of a new school year.
Sylvester Gyan '09

Sylvester Gyan is a person who believes in taking calculated risks and trying out new things. He is a wily character from Ghana, who has taken the unenviable task of double majoring in Physics and Economics. He has represented the college in a model United Nations Conference at the University of Pennsylvania, and is an active member of the International Affairs Association club on campus. He is a big movie fan, enjoys watching basketball and loves to play soccer.

Olivia Ireland is a junior Psychology major and English minor from Exeter, New Hampshire. She has been actively involved in the Gettysburg Annual Phonathon, raising money for the Gettysburg Fund, and she tutors elementary school children through Harvesting Friendships. She welcomes Gettysburg's Class of 2012, and can't wait to meet everyone!
Megan Murphy '11

Megan Murphy is from Mechanicsburg, PA. She is a Health Sciences major and currently pre-med. Megan is on the track and field team here at Gettysburg. Also, she is involved in several public service activities here on campus, such as Habitat for Humanity and working at the soup kitchen in town. Megan loves running, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Liisa Fetig is a sophomore Anthropology and Women's Studies double major who has lived all over the place. Currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, she has also lived in Newton, Massachusetts, Kensington, Maryland, and Panama (yes, the country). She is involved in Allies, Gettysburg College's Gay-Straight Alliance, and loves to play intramural volleyball. She is frequently seen in her favorite highlighter yellow sweatshirt talking about one of two of her favorite things: coffee or kittens!
Shatera Kimbrough '11

Shatera Kimbrough is a part of the class of 2011. She loves Gettysburg and all that it offers her. When it comes to academics, Shatera is a Psychology major with a pre-medical concentration. When she is not in the classroom or the library she likes to spend her free time dancing with her group D.O.D., singing with the Gettysburg Gospel Choir, being physical in the Tae Kwon Do club, and spreading the Gburg word on my talk show "Hey Sista!"

Garrett Speace is a rising junior at Gettysburg College with a Management major and Classics minor. He is from Wilkes-Barre, PA but went to high school at Avon Old Farms in Connecticut. He is a brother at Phi Gamma Delta and in his free time enjoys playing Ice Hockey for Gettysburg.
