Hi, I’m Jordan! I am a returning Sophomore originally from Oakland, CA. This year I will be taking on my first year as a new RA. Acting as a role model and leader has been a passion of mine since I can remember. I am the oldest of three, have taught entire martial arts classes at the age of 12, was the leader of my group while backpacking and canoeing through Minnesota, I lead workshops that taught freshman at my high school all the necessary credits they needed to graduate, I am also a new tour guide on campus, and next year will be acting as Vice president of Black Student Union. So, leadership and mentorship is apart of who I am. I want to take everything I have learned from my first year of college to help others. As a minority on this campus, being from a challenging background, and having to go to school so far from home I want to show students that anything is possible. Therefore, I am more than excited to take on this new responsibility as a RA for our incoming first years.
