Mike is a sophomore from the Pittsburgh area. He plans to major in computer science and minor in business while being an active member of Improv Comedy, Ultimate Frisbee, Poetry Circle, and other clubs on campus.
Madison is a junior mathematics and economics duel major from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field teams and is a longstanding fan of the West Quad (Best Quad). Her love of vegetables is balanced by her sweet tooth and affinity for all things chocolate. She enjoys spending the majority of her time outside whether it is spent running, hanging out with friends, or helping to lead the best orientation yet!
Oia is a sophomore from Harleysville, PA. She is a psychology major with minors in business and education. Outside of classes, she works as a Leadership Mentor with the GLC and as a research assistant with Professor Meier in the psychology department. She is also the co-president of Brain Club, Gettysburg’s psych and neuroscience organization, and an active member of Student Alumni Association. She can’t wait to meet all the incoming first-years!
Amanda is a Health Sciences Major interested in Public Health from Commack, NY. She is a Peer Research Mentor at Musselman Library, a member of APO Service Fraternity, the Biosphere Club and Co-Chair of the Honor Commission. Amanda also loves to dance and is involved with Zouave and Dance Ensemble. In her free time, Amanda loves baking, reading and yoga. Amanda studied abroad in Copenhagen last spring. She looks forward to meeting the Class of 2021 and hopes to share her enthusiasm for all things Gettysburg.
Carliana is a sophomore from Westminster, Maryland and is creating her own major. She is a member of the Gettysburg softball team alongside her sister Wendy, who is a senior at Gettysburg. Besides being on the field, Carliana also works in Campus Recreation. When she's not at college, she loves to be by the beach with her family and friends. Carliana is so excited to meet the Class of 2021, and can't wait to welcome them to their Gettysburg home!

Matty is a Philosophy major from San Diego, California. She enjoys participating in intramural sports such as soccer and volleyball, and supporting Gettysburg’s athletic teams. You can usually find Matty in the library, grabbing a coffee in the CUB, or chatting with her professors. She is looking forward to meeting the Class of 2021 as she begins her second year at Gettysburg!
Sam is a sophomore undeclared major from Tully, New York. He is a member of the schools Cross Country and Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field teams. When he's not competitively running in circles or procrastinating he is also a member of Shots in the Dark, the school's performing Improv Comedy Troupe. He is a firm believer that certain muffins, (blueberry crumb to be exact), should be eaten with a spoon and will gladly take time out of his day to explain why.
Kelly is a sophomore Philosophy major from Allentown, Pennsylvania. On campus, she is the Senate Representative for Nerd Nation, participates in many of the Garthwait Leadership Center's organized events, and loves spending time with friends. Outside of Gettysburg, she loves baking cupcakes, skiing, swimming, and binge watching Netflix shows. In the future, she hopes to attend graduate school and become a Copyright Lawyer.
Nene is a senior Biology major from Harlem, NYC. This year, she will be a Resident Assistant in Rice Hall. In addition to being a RA, Nene works in a Biology Lab doing research on Biofilms and is an employee at the College Union Building's Information Desk. Nene's goal is to marry her love for working with and helping people with her passion for science. She aspires to be a doctor and plans to one day on fulfill her ultimate mission of improving healthcare in her hometown, Bamako, Mali.
