Rebecca Borovsky '16 Student Orientation Coordinator
My name is Rebecca Borovsky and I am member of the Class of 2016. I am very excited to get to know you all as the Student Orientation Coordinator. I am an Organizational Management Studies major from Burlington, CT. On campus, I am also involved with the Campus Activities Board, The Attic, Hillel, and Honor Commission. I spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. During my time in Copenhagen, I learned how to bake cinnamon buns, which are called “snails” in Danish! My favorite Gettysburg tradition is the First Year Walk. It is very exciting to see an entire class come together and remember such an important historical event. Have a fantastic summer and I look forward to your arrival on campus in August!
Kyle Chipman '16 Charting Your Course Coordinator
Hello, my name is Kyle Chipman and I am the Charting Your Course Coordinator for the upcoming school year. I am a member of the Class of 2016 and from a small town by the name of Landenberg, Pennsylvania. I am an Organizational Management major, with minors in Business and Civil War Era studies. Around campus you will see me constantly doing some sort of work for class. Outside of class I am involved heavily as well. I am currently the philanthropy chair for Lambda Chi Alpha and President/Assistant Captain of the Gettysburg Ice Hockey team. One of my favorite Gettysburg traditions is Thanksgiving Dinner because it’s a time for friends to come together before leaving for break. I hope you have a great summer and I can’t wait to see you all in the fall!
Christina Bassler '16 Special Projects Coordinator
My name is Christina Bassler and I’m currently the Special Projects Coordinator. I’m a part of the Class of 2016 and I’m from Baltimore, Maryland. I’m an English and Philosophy double major and I enjoy being an active student on campus. I’m involved with the Honor Commission, have worked with Students Against Sexual Assault, served as a Resident Assistant for two years, and participated in the Garthwait Leadership Center's Leadership Institute program. I studied abroad in Melbourne, Australia in the fall of 2014 and I was able to travel to exotic places like the Daintree Rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef, and Uluru. I also learned how to wrestle crocodiles (not really). One Gettysburg tradition I enjoy is Snowball, the annual dance held in the ballroom each February. It’s a good time to dress up and dance with friends! H.A.G.S.; I’m excited to see you in the fall!
