Anna Baldasarre '14 - Orientation Coordinator
Hello! I’m Anna Baldasarre, and I’m so excited to work with the Class of 2017 as the Student Orientation Coordinator! I’m a rising senior from Hagerstown, MD with a double major in English and Sociology. On campus I am also involved in the Campus Activities Board as the Traditions Chair and am a member of Greek life, the Attic Advisory Board, the Senior Class Gift Campaign Committee, and Omicron Delta Kappa, the leadership honor society. I have been volcano boarding in Nicaragua, and I rode an ostrich in South Africa, where I studied abroad during the Fall 2012 semester. My favorite building on campus is Musselman Library; there’s a study environment for everyone, and you’re sure to run into a few friends while you’re there! I can’t wait to see all of you on campus in August!
Scott Johnson '14 - Charting Your Course Coordinator
Hey guys! My name is Scott Johnson and I am a rising senior from Kings Park, New York. I am the extended orientation coordinator (Charting Your Course Coordinator) for the Office of Student Activities & First Year Programs for the incoming Class of 2017. On campus, I am an employee of the College Union Building (CUB) Desk, a contributing member of the Gettysburg Men’s Tennis Team, and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. I have served as a Junior Class Senator and an Orientation Leader in past years, and transferred to Gettysburg College after my first year at Denison University. I am a Psychology major and a Business minor, and hope to become either a psychiatrist or manager after attending graduate school. My favorite building on campus is Servo, obviously because I love food. A fun fact about me is that I would love to travel to space one day. I’m very excited for orientation this coming year and am looking forward to meeting all of you! I hope everyone has a great summer!
Elizabeth Pence '14 - First-Year Programs Staff Assistant
Hey everyone! My name is Liz Pence, and I am a rising senior and Staff Assistant for First-Year Programs. I come from New York City, where I live with my mom, dad, sister, and dog. I am an International Affairs and Spanish Linguistics double major. I am the Vice President of Tri Sigma and a Fitness Supervisor at the Jaeger Center. Over the past three years, I have volunteered with a number of organizations, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, through the Center for Public Service and these experiences have been some of my favorite in college so far. I also studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain and was lucky enough to travel to Portugal, France, Italy, and Belgium while I was there, too. My real passion in life is food. I grew up in a house with a chef for a father and learned to appreciate different cuisines from a young age. I love traveling and tasting new things, but I also love to experiment in the kitchen myself. I am so excited to meet the incoming First-Year class and work with you all throughout Orientation and the rest of your First-Year. Have a great summer everyone and get excited for the fall!
