Behavioral Neuroscience: A hybrid of psychology and biology
A conversation with Gettysburg College psychology professor Stephen Siviy
Siviy's research interests are in identifying the neurobiological substrates of play behavior and studying the effects of early social isolation on the structure and function of brain monoamine systems. He earned a bachelor's degree from Washington and Jefferson College, a master's from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a doctorate from Bowling Green State University. He also served as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Sydney and University of California, Los Angeles.
