How to Request an IRS Tax Return Transcript
Once your 2012 taxes are submitted and accepted, a 2012 Federal Income Tax Return Transcript can be obtained by contacting the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-908-9946 or via the IRS website.
Make a copy of parent(s) and student IRS Tax Return Transcripts and mail, fax or email this copy to the Gettysburg College Office of Financial Aid.
-
A copy of your Federal Tax Return is NOT an IRS Tax Return Transcript.
-
When completing your request, use the information for the primary filer, typically the first person listed on tax return.
-
If you or your parent(s) are not required to file Federal Income Taxes per IRS regulations, please indicate so on the Gettysburg College Verification Worksheet.
-
There is no fee to request a Tax Return Transcript.
