Work-Study Journal
The information found in these pages should be helpful in your search for a Work-Study position. Once you find a job and have been hired into the position, sign the Work-Study Authorization Form and give it to your supervisor. Your supervisor should complete and sign the form, and return it to the Office of Financial Aid, Campus Box 438.
In addition to the Authorization Form you must complete paperwork at the Human Resources Office on the First Floor of Penn Hall within three days of your first day of employment. If you don’t complete this necessary paperwork you are not authorized to work on campus and cannot be paid.
The Community Service component of the Federal Work-Study Program provides opportunities for employment at community service agencies in the local area. To find a list of these agencies select Community Service in the drop-down menu below. If you have general questions about the Community Service program, contact Gretchen Natter at the Center for Public Service at 337-6490 or via email at gnatter@gettysburg.edu.
