Christian H. Musselman, 1880-1944 & Emma G. Musselman, 1880-1966

Pioneers in fruit processing, the Musselmans were hands-on managers who spent long hours working in their plants during canning season. Devout Mennonites, they embraced a strong work ethic and valued their employees, taking a special interest in their welfare and their families.

As a grower, Christian Musselman experimented in new methods of apple culture and soil development and encouraged local orchardists and the promotion of the fruit industry in Adams County.
