A photographic exhibition of Gettysburg College places and people
Gettysburg College, as other colleges and universities, has in its possession a large collection of old photographs which provide a visual record of the people and places that figure in the history of the institution as it evolved in both time and space.
Nearly all of the originals of the pictures you see here were produced by four professional and three amateur photographers. Several, as noted by the exhibition labels, were made by persons whose identities cannot be ascertained at this time.
This virtual exhibit shows a few of these many pictures. By clicking on any of the small thumbnail images on the next page you will be able to see a larger image and the caption of that image. Clicking on any of these images will allow you to see the picture full size.
