College baseball games in the first quarter century were played on Nixon Field. (Today the site of Musselman Library, Rice, Stine, and Paul, and Bridenbaugh Halls.) Coached by Ira Plank and assisted by brother Eddie Plank (then starting his 13th season with the Philadelphia Athletics) the 1913 team compiled a record of 7 wins and 7 losses.
