Campus Life

What's there to do at Gettysburg College? Well, for starters you can get involved -- just about anywhere and with anything that you want. Gettysburg is a 24/7 college -- which undoubtedly explains why more than 90 percent of Gettysburg College students live on campus, and 95 percent remain here on the weekends.

If it's structure you like, there's music, drama, arts, student government, honorary societies, sports, fraternities and sororities, publications, community service, etc., etc., etc. There's also The Attic, a student-designed, student-run nightclub. It allows for a wide variety of events, including concerts, DJ dance parties, formals, sports parties, and special events. In addition, there are club sports and intramural leagues. All in all, there are nearly 1,000 leadership opportunities for students.

And don't forget the impromptu -- a shared pizza at 2:00 a.m., a trip to Washington, D.C., a walk on the battlefield, or snowboarding at nearby Ski Liberty. Life on campus is rich and full at Gettysburg. Opportunities to get involved abound, and match just about every conceivable interest.
