Cycling Club

The Gettysburg College Cycling Club was started with a dual purpose.  The first is to provide any student, regardless of skill level, an opportunity to go on fun and easy rides once a week during the spring and fall.  Both road rides and trail rides (mountain biking) are offered for students.  Rides are normally Sunday afternoons (weather permitting), are short to moderate distance, and are easy paced.  The second purpose of the club is to have a road racing squad that competes in collegiate races. These squads will train more intensively and enter various races throughout the racing season (spring for road racing and fall for mountain bike racing).
