Leadership Opportunities

The clubs and organizations at Gettysburg create more than a thousand leadership opportunities for students. By working with others on causes and projects of mutual interest, students gain hands-on experience with such important leadership skills as persuasion, negotiation, setting goals, and working together to reach them. Your efforts as a campus leader enrich your life while you're a student and carry over after graduation. Many students say that the experiences they gained leading a student organization gave them a competitive advantage when they moved into the workplace.

Silent Leaders Awarded

7 Silent Leaders Awarded

At Fall Convocation seven Gettysburg College students received the prestigious Silent Leadership award. Recognizing students who lead by example and are positive role models for the college community, the Silent Leadership Award honors those individuals who have demonstrated their ability to go above and beyond what is expected and truly make a difference throughout the community. By participating in numerous service projects and organizations, Silent Leaders exhibit both a passion for life and a commitment to service.
