There are no bystanders at Gettysburg. Everyone has both the opportunity to act as a leader, and the corresponding responsibility to serve as a leader. Gettysburg offers more than 1,000 leadership opportunities every year. Starting a new student organization, serving as captain of a team, coordinating volunteers, and leading an outdoor expedition are just a few of the examples that give students the chance to develop their leadership skills.
