Gettysburg College’s Class of 2018 includes 726 talented students hailing from 26 states and 15 countries. The class brings to campus a remarkable mix of academic and civic achievements, unique life experiences, and a drive to do great work.

The Class of 2018 students have:

  • Participated in mission trips to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Peru, Guatemala, El Salvador, Malawi, Ecuador, and Solomon Islands
  • Globetrotted with People to People
  • Worked on the House of Cards series
  • Named by ESPNHS as one of the “Top 10 Players to Watch”
  • Dances both traditional and modern Tahitian
  • Earned a partial scholarship from American Music Abroad to travel and perform in seven countries
  • Participated in the 2014 World Hula Conference in Hawaii
  • Placed fourth in a solar car race across the American Southwest
  • Participated in national “You Can Do the Rubik’s Cube” conventions
  • Raised $30,000 for Type 1 Diabetes research and $60,000 for a library in Senegal
  • Won a national indoor field hockey championship
  • Worked as a professional clam digger
  • Interned for U.S. Congresswoman Nan Hayworth
