Colleen Hartung
Adjunct Assistant Professor, Sunderman Cons. of Music
Colleen Hartung received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in clarinet performance at Michigan State University as a student of Dr. Elsa Ludewig-Verdehr. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in clarinet performance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where her primary teacher was Robert Listokin. Dr. Hartung has performed with the Winston-Salem Symphony Orchestra, the Jackson Symphony, the Roanoke Symphony, Opera Roanoke, the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, the Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra, and the Ash Lawn Opera Festival. She has also been a participant at the Banff Centre for the Arts. Dr. Hartung currently teaches at the Sunderman Conservatory at Gettysburg College and Susquehanna University.
