Career Development

The Center for Career Development will work with you to explore career options, select a major, customize a career plan, and follow it through to a rewarding future.

And these opportunities extend past graduation. Alumni continue to take advantage of our resources and programs.

Career Development will help you:

  • Find career opportunities in your field
  • Identify graduate and professional schools
  • Arrange hands-on experiences like internships and externships
  • Learn how to present yourself persuasively to a potential employer
  • Network to make connections with Gettysburg alumni, parents, and others

In addition, the Career Distinction Program at Gettysburg lets you tap the collective experience, wisdom, and career connections of the more than 25,000 professionals from all walks of life in the extended Gettysburg community. You will build relationships in person and online, through a web-based system that offers career insights, advice on resumes, job leads, and other useful information. The goal is to help each student create an individual network of people in a geographic region or type of career.
