Not sure what to do while you're on campus?
Here are a few sample itineraries.

The Gettysburg Sampler- your first visit to campus
8 a.m
.- before heading to the Admissions Office, grab breakfast at LD's (the Lincoln Diner) or get your caffeine fix at the Ragged Edge
9 a.m.-campus tour: led by a friendly Gettysburg College tour guide!
10 a.m.-information session: your tour guide can drop you off at the session, and an admissions counselor and current student will be there to talk about Gettysburg and the admissions process, and allow you to ask any other questions
11 a.m.-interview with an admissions counselor (if you're a senior) or wander campus, get some coffee at the Uncommon Grounds in the CUB and stock up on your G-Wear at the College Bookstore
Noon- lunch on campus at the Bullet Hole, Servo, or at a great restaurant in town, like Mamie's Cafe

I only have the morning or afternoon
10 a.m. or 2 p.m.-information session
11 a.m. or 3 p.m.-campus tour (departs from the information session)
Noon or 4 p.m.-wander through campus or into town, grab some Rita's Italian Ice or Kilwin's homemade ice cream (or both? Hmm...)

I've already been to campus
2 p.m.-campus tour (you'll probably have a different tour guide, so why not learn something new)
3 p.m.-interview: have a one-on-one conversation with an admissions counselor.  It's a great way for us to get to know you!
4 p.m.-wander campus, get some coffee at the Uncommon Grounds in the CUB and stock up on your G-Wear at the College Bookstore
6 p.m.-dinner: try the Pub, Mama Ventura's (Italian), or Ping's (Chinese/Japanese)
7 p.m.-Gettysburg ghost tour!  Even skeptics will have a good time being led by candlelit lantern through town and onto campus

It isn't required to do an interview, tour and info session, but you are welcome to do one, two, or all three.  The combination is up to you, but we do hope that whatever you decide to do while in Gettysburg, you have a memorable experience.  We think that Gettysburg is a great place to be and we hope that you enjoy it!
