The mission of the Office of Violence Prevention and Resolution is to foster collaborative relationships amongst campus and community partners and mobilize efforts to eradicate all forms of interpersonal violence at Gettysburg College. Our goal is to provide prevention education programs that effectively stop violence before it occurs as well as offer trauma-informed services to empower those who have experienced interpersonal violence. We host and co-sponsor a variety of annual awareness events, bystander workshops and prevention education programs with other departments and student clubs including the Women’s Center, Students Against Sexual Assault (SASA), the Panhellenic Council, and the Interfraternity Council (IFC).
