At the Center for Global Education, we are dedicated to ensuring that all Gettysburg Students, regardless of gender, race, religion, family background, or physical or mental ability have access to global study. Students, CGE advisors, the Center for Student Success, and our health and safety partners at Healix, work in close collaboration to develop a global study plan that supports each student’s individual needs. About Us

In keeping with Gettysburg College's mission to foster global thinking and to instill a compassionate respect for others and for our world, the Center for Global Education encourages all members of our academic community to become citizens of the world. We work toward this goal by emphasizing credit-bearing and culturally-immersive global study opportunities for students in all majors. With a faculty who engage in teaching and research around the globe, alumni who enter careers and vocations that address the complex problems of our world, a curriculum that emphasizes the understanding of diverse communities and the events that occur within them, and student body that studies a variety of languages and cultures, and participates in study abroad at a rate of nearly 50% - Gettysburg’s education and community is global in every sense!
