The Baby Blue's

The Baby Blues, the premiere clarinet quartet of The United States Air Force Band, established in 2011, has already received nationwide recognition. Since their formation, The Baby Blues has presented multiple recitals in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, as well as ceremonial performances for official Air Force events.  In October 2012 they traveled across the country to present recitals and clinics throughout California and Arizona including a performance and master class at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. They were also featured on a live radio broadcast in Yuma, AZ.  Most recently, The Baby Blues performed at the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, IL.

Prior to joining the Air Force, Technical Sergeants Kristin King, Brian Wahrlich, Laura Henry, and Sara Wollmacher held positions with the South Bend Symphony, Orquesta Sinfonica Sinaloa de las Artes, Green Bay Symphony, and Tallahassee Symphony, respectively.  Additionally, they hold Master of Music degrees in Clarinet Performance from such notable institutions as Northwestern University, The Eastman School of Music, University of Minnesota, and Yale University.
