Students in the Economics Department have many opportunities to supplement their coursework with activities, organizations and experiences -- both on campus and off. These include honor societies, internships, study abroad and more.
Students are also encouraged to visit the Department Office to learn about various other opportunities that may be available. For example, the American Economic Association sponsors several summer workshops in economic theory and quantitative techniques for minority students with an interest, but not necessarily a major, in economics.

Gettysburg Economic Review
The Department offers opportunities for students to conduct in-depth research and collaborate with faculty on economic research projects. Examples of student research projects are published annually in the Gettysburg Economic Review.
