Heather N. Odle-Dusseau

Heather N. Odle-Dusseau earned a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Bowling Green State University, after which she obtained an M.S. in Applied Psychology (2005) and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (2008) from Clemson University. Dr. Odle-Dusseau came to Gettysburg College in 2008 after graduating from Clemson University, where she taught classes in the Management and Psychology departments. Her research interests include the dynamics of the selection interview, integrity selection testing, and occupational health and well-being, conducting both her thesis and dissertation on the interactions among work and family domains. She has co-authored papers published in the Journal of Business and Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and the Journal of Clinical Psychology, as well as a book chapter in the Oxford Handbook of Organizational Well-Being. Her research program here at Gettysburg College has centered on the work-family interface, focusing on the how specific organizational resources aid in the management of work and non-work domains. She teaches courses in Organization Theory, Work, Life, and Family Balance, as well as a senior capstone experience.
