Foundation, Government and Faculty Grants

The Department of Foundation, Government, and Faculty Grants helps Gettysburg College develop and strengthen partnerships that are beneficial to the advancement of education.

The office seeks outside grant funding which may be in the form of scholarships, faculty research, building or conservation, equipment, and other programs that are consistent with the College's priorities.

Exciting Workshop Opportunity

Marianne Jordan, Managing Director of Grants Services at McAllister & Quinn, will present a workshop on September 14 from 12:15 – 1:00 entitled, “Successful Faculty Grant Seeking.”  Ms. Jordan directed grants programs at Allegheny and Bowdoin Colleges over the last several decades.  The workshop will focus on how and why to build a scholarly career assisted by grant seeking strategies.  She will include pathways for those in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.

A light lunch will be served starting at 12 PM in CUB 260. RSVP is required by September 6 to bslaybau@gettysburg.edu.
