10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
(Seniors - please come when you can during these hours; it takes about 30-45 minutes to visit all of the stations)
Here’s your chance to take care of everything you need to get ready for the big day, all in one spot for your convenience. At Commencement Prep Day, seniors will pick up caps and gowns, order class rings and yearbooks, update contact information, settle accounts, receive gifts from the Alumni Association and the President’s Office, and much more. Enter for a chance to win great prizes! Follow the steps below for a quick and easy Commencement Prep Day experience.
STEP 1: PRE-ORDER REGALIA (dates TBA)
You are responsible for purchasing your regalia through the College Bookstore's website before Prep Day. Ordering details will be posted in December 2019. If you miss the deadline for pre-ordering regalia, you may purchase it from the Bookstore at Commencement Prep Day but sizes cannot be guaranteed. The student regalia package consists of 5 items: a gown, cap, tassel, academic hood with the appropriate degree colors, and a Stole of Gratitude (which is a gift from the Alumni Association.) Unfortunately, you may not re-purpose regalia that was used previously by someone you know because you will not have the correct Stole of Gratitude (which has the class year on it) and you may not have the correct color hood (which indicates the degree that you have earned.)
- If you pre-order online before the deadline, you will pick up your regalia package in person at Commencement Prep Day.
- If you miss the pre-ordering deadline, you will need to purchase your regalia in person at Commencement Prep Day (April 22). Please contact the Bookstore directly for details.
STEP 2: ATTEND PREP DAY
Seniors should plan to attend Prep Day on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Complete details will be posted on the digest and sent to seniors via email in March, 2020.
