I am pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Del Gaudio as the inaugural Director ofGender Equity and LGBTQIA+ Life at Gettysburg College, where she will provide leadership for Women’s Center and LGBTQIA+ Life initiatives.
Before joining Gettysburg, Amanda served as the Assistant Director of LGBTQ+ Advocacy and Awareness for Hofstra University. Amanda’s professional background has focused on various student life disciplinary areas, and this student-centered experience will be greatly beneficial to members of our Gettysburg College community.
Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Family Services and Women and Gender Studies with a minor in LGBTQ Studies from Montclair State University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Higher Education from Montclair State University. Amanda’s journey with Gettysburg will begin on June 1.
