VIDEO: Spring 2016 – The Semester in Review

Can you believe it’s already summer? It feels like just yesterday that we shared our Fall 2015 semester in review. To be sure, the spring semester was filled with academic achievements, musical performances, research projects, travels abroad, and many more impactful moments!

Highlights included The Sunderman Conservatory of Music celebrating its 10th anniversary and the Garthwait Leadership Center marking its fifth year by kicking off the Leadership Certificate program.

In athletics news, men’s swimming won its 6th consecutive Centennial Conference championship, men’s lacrosse captured its 15th overall and 2nd in a row, women’s lacrosse captured its 10th title, and women’s golf won a record 6th straight conference title.

Other big moments on campus included Winter Storm Jonas inviting himself to this year's Twilight Walk and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders hosting a town hall on campus.

The year ended with our annual Celebration of research, creative activity, and community engagement and the 181st Commencement, which welcomed the class of 2016 to alumni-hood—the perfect end to an amazing year.
