Alum Erin Connolly's Cornerstone Restaurant was featured in the July 16 Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
From the Tribune-Review:
Growing up in Shadyside and attending Winchester-Thurston, Erin worked part time at the Elbow Room, starting as a server then bartender. She earned a business degree at Gettysburg College.
One of her early moves was to take the restaurant outside toward Eastern Avenue for alfresco dining. This fall she will put in a new front door with access for people with disabilities.
She also has plans to open the side wall to make a porch to lengthen the outdoor season.
