Information about programs and services will be updated during Summer 2021. Please contact the GLC if you have questions about specific offerings.

All of our programs offer a balance of challenge, satisfaction, and connection. Whether you’re interested in exploring energy poverty in Ethiopia, meeting new people and pushing your limits ice climbing in New Hampshire, or improving your team’s ability to work through stressful situations on the challenge course, the Office of Experiential Education offers something for everyone.

Participate in weekly hiking, kayaking, or climbing day trips, or our week-long Winterfest programs, all of which are sponsored by the Office. Our Summer Expeditions, equipment rental, and climbing wall are also available for Gettysburg students, and club presidents are encouraged to request a challenge course workshop for their organization.

Use our challenge course, the Den, or custom-designed wilderness programs to complement the athletic or classroom experience. Employees are also invited to participate in May and October expeditions and rent program equipment for personal or College use.
