Retirees

  • If you have DUO and need to change, recover or unlock your password – please visit www.gettysburg.edu/password
  • If you do not have DUO and need to change your password
    • Visit Email on the Web
    • Login to the Outlook Web App with your network credentials
    • In the upper right corner of the screen, click on the gear icon next to your name
    • This will open a menu. Select "Change password" from the list
    • Follow the instructions on the page to change your password
  • If you do not have DUO and don’t know your password, please call the IT helpdesk at (717)337-7000 option 1.


Students - Changing your password

  • Visit Student Email
  • Login to O365 with your network credentials
  • In the upper right corner of the screen, click on your initials
  • Click "View Account"
  • Click "Change Password"
  • Follow the instructions on the page to change your password


Students - Resetting Your Password

  • Visit Student Email
  • Enter your username
  • Click the Forgot My Password Link
  • Enter your email, along with the captcha verification code to proceed
  • Enter in your Alternate/Recovery Email address to receive a code
  • Enter the Code that you will receive in your Alternate Email
  • Enter in your Recovery Phone Number for an SMS message
  • Enter the Code from the SMS Message
  • After going through the Authentication steps, change your password

Password Rules:

Your password must:

  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length
  • Passwords must contain at least 1 uppercase character
  • Passwords must contain at least 1 lowercase character
  • Passwords must contain at least 1 number
  • Passwords must contain at least 1 special character
  • Past 3 passwords cannot be used
