Protocols for when you need to travel

Gettysburg College will continue to be guided by the most recent Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and recommendations for domestic and international travel.

Employees and students will be encouraged to stay within the Gettysburg area and limit any travel that is not absolutely necessary. If employees need to travel, they will need to receive approval from their divisional head or academic divisional dean. Student field trips or conferences must be approved by the academic divisional dean. All other types of College-related student travel must be approved by the administrator responsible for the trip.

Once approval has been granted, all travel must be registered through an online portal. More information and a link to the portal will be forthcoming.
