Over the course of my freshman year, I was actively involved with Colleges Against Cancer, played on an intramural floor hockey team and became a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a coed service fraternity on campus. I look forward to meeting all of you and being an orientation leader for your class! See you in August!

My name is Brandon Tower and I will be a senior at Gettysburg College this upcoming school year as well as the RC on the first floor of Patrick Hall. I am originally from Shamong, NJ, and at school I am a Political Science and International Affairs dual-major with an Italian Studies minor. On campus, besides my role as an RC, I work as a Program Assistant at the Eisenhower Institute, I am a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, I am an Eisenhower Institute Undergraduate Fellow, and I co-host “The Pregame” radio show –the staple of every Gettysburgian’s Saturday evening. I spent last semester studying abroad in Northern Italy, so I am very excited to get back to Gettysburg and welcome all of you.
Dina Mohamed-Aly '15
Hello Class of 2017! My name is Dina, I am a Junior from Plainfield, NJ and I am studying Molecular Biology and Studio Art. This Fall, I am the Resident Assistant for Patrick on the Second Floor. I am also a Program Coordinator of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Gettysburg. Freshman year was definitely my favorite year because of all the new things that I was able to experience and the great friends I have made since. That is not to say freshman year wasn't also challenging and a bit frustrating. We all have our individual obstacles that we will encounter. But just as there are these challenges, there are also many upsides to Freshman year and you truly learn where your strengths are. It's possible that you discover what you'd want to major in or become a part of if you don't yet know! And if you're willing, you'll find that so many people at this college can give you valuable aid and support, whether it is your professors, your friends, your TAs, or your RAs. There are also some great organizations to check out when you get to campus, including CPS (Center for Public Service), and CCD (Center for Career Development). I hope you are all having a great summer and are excited as I am for this Fall! Feel free to email me if you have any questions and say "Hi" at Orientation!
Benjamin Tenaglia '15
Hey, my name is Ben Tenaglia, but my friends call me “Tangles”, a nickname I’ve had since middle school. Like any good nickname there is a funny (well I think it’s funny) story behind it so feel free to ask me sometime. I am from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania which is about an hour from both Philadelphia and New York City. I grew up a Philly fan and remain loyal to the cheesesteak city today. My favorite sport by far is soccer, and I could talk about the “real football” for hours to anyone. Here at Gettysburg, I’m going into my junior year and double majoring in Economics and History. In addition to being an RA in Patrick this year, I work for the Department of Public Safety and am involved in several clubs and organizations here on campus such as the service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. This will be my second year on Res Life and I have a lot planned to make this year fun and exciting so prepare yourselves for it. It’s going to be a great year!
Devora Ashkenazy '14
I am so excited to be the RA in Patrick 3 this year! I’m from New York City and a member of class of ’14. My major is in Religious Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I love my family, food, travelling, music, and meeting new people. Can’t wait to get to know you, so we can have an awesome year together!
Fergan Imbert '16
My name is Fergan Imbert and I’m a sophomore from Brooklyn, New York. This will be my first year on staff and I am admittedly both excited and nervous to get to work in the East Quad this year as an RA on Patrick 3! I’m a Biology major with a minor in business (weird combination, I know). On campus I am a student worker at the bookstore and also a member of Gettysburg’s audition-only Hip Hop dance crew, B.O.M.B Squad! When I’m not in class or studying you can find me hanging out with friends on Stine Lake or in Servo. I love food, warm weather, watching shows such as Game of Thrones (it’s more of an obsession really) and vacationing around the world; mainly in the Caribbean since my family is from Saint Lucia ( yes, this place actually exists haha). After Gettysburg I want to attend Medical School in the hopes of becoming an Obstetrician. I can’t wait to meet my residents and have one of the greatest years ever!
