Jessica Weathers '14
Rice 1

Hi Class of 2017!!! My name is Jessica Weathers and I am a senior from Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I am a double major in Psychology and Latin American Studies and Spanish. On campus I am involved in the Gettysburg Women’s Rugby club team, I am a member of Greek life and I am the Public Relations chair for the Latin American Student Association. Last year I spent the Fall semester abroad in Mendoza, Argentina and I had the time of my life eating, dancing, and studying Spanish in a part of the world that is very near to my heart. I am so excited to share Gettysburg with all of you and help you feel as much at home as I do at school. This will be my second time volunteering as an Orientation Leader and I am so excited to meet you all in August!

Tiana Wu '16

I am an enthusiastic individual that enjoys meeting new people and helping others. Though I am demanding of myself, I never forget to have fun and share my moments with my friends; "Work hard play hard" would definitely be my motto. I come all the way from Hong Kong but love the Gettysburg community that I found and hope to share this with the Class of 2017.

I’m from Hamilton, New Jersey. I applied to Gettysburg College after narrowing down my list of colleges to a few that truly interested me. After Get-Acquainted Day, I was ready to accept my admission, and since then, starting with my Send-Off and Orientation, I’ve always felt like a member of the campus community. I strive to involve myself in as much as possible here at Gettysburg College, and I hope to make the process of joining us as enjoyable for future students as it was for me.

I can't wait to meet all of you, and I hope you are excited to join the beautiful community that is Gettysburg College!
