Health insurance is required for all students.
All students are charged for the College health insurance plan on the June tuition bill preceding each academic year.
Students will receive a credit on their billing statement for this charge if the student, parent(s), or guardian(s) provide documentation of coverage by a private health insurance plan.
If your student will be covered by a private health insurance plan during the 2015-16 academic year, please enter plan information in the Parent Dashboard by June 22 (if your student is a first-year) or by August 3 (for sophomores through seniors).
If your student would like to enroll in the College health insurance option, they MUST make that selection in their Dashboard under Health Insurance. Parents do not have the ability to enroll students in the College health insurance option in the Parent Dashboard.
The deadline for students to enroll in the College health insurance option is June 19 for first-year students and August 3 for sophomores through seniors.
If your student has not completed the Health Insurance portion of the Dashboard by September 1, 2015, your student will automatically be enrolled in the College health insurance option. The premium is $2,072.00 for coverage from August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016. No cancellations or refunds can be processed after September 1 (this is an insurance company policy not the College’s policy).
