The National College Advising Corps Info Session - Nov 6th+
The National College Advising Corps (NCAC) seeks to bring talented, enthusiastic advisors to every community that wants them and to every student who needs them. Through a nationwide consortium of colleges and universities, the corps aims to increase the number of low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students entering and completing higher education. By placing recent graduates of partner institutions as college advisors in low-income high schools and community colleges, their programs work in communities across the country to provide the advising and encouragement that students need to navigate college admissions. Bob Freund of Franklin and Marshall College coordinates the program for the Keystone Region, and he would like to talk to interested students about NCAC. Every year he hires between 5-10 advisors straight out of college. RSVPs through your GettysburgWorks account appreciated. Questions: contact the Center for Career Development.
