Hillel at Gettysburg College is a home-away-from-home for Jewish students. Hillel serves spiritual, cultural, and social needs for Jewish students and also introduces the campus to Jewish life. The group strives to build a close-knit community among Jewish college students while reaching out to the non-Jewish college community.

A monthly Shabbat service and dinner is held at 135 N. Washington St. Fall 2014 dates are: Sept 12, Oct 24, Nov 21 & Dec 12.

A lively and honest bi-weekly discussion on the intersection of faith and social issues.
Adamah: Food Justice in Philadelphia
Hillel connects with the Center for Public Service to sponsor an Immersion Project, Adamah: Food Justice in Philadelphia. Supported by a generous gift from Dr. Michael ’61 and Lynn Reichgott, the Immersion Project enables participants to explore the intersection of Judaism and food justice issues by engaging with organic farming, Jewish tradition, educational workshops and community building.

Worship Spaces on Campus:
The Hillel House is located at 135 N. Washington Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Gettysburg Hillel uses many places on campus for religious observance. Shabbat services can be held at Glatfelter Lodge. Tashlich can take place at the lake. Gettysburg Hillel builds a Sukkah on campus grounds.
