At midterm, instructors may report deficient grades (below C-) to the Center for Student Success to warn students of their unsatisfactory academic status and to encourage them to take appropriate steps to improve their performance during the remainder of the semester. Deficiency notices are sent to students, their advisors, and athletic coaches.
