Welcome to the home of the band program in the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College.
For over 100 years, students, faculty and community members have been performing in bands at Gettysburg. We have a long tradition of excellence in performance and offer musicians opportunities to join many different types of ensembles. Whether you are a music major, interested in a music minor, or simply enjoy making music, there is a band for you at Gettysburg College.
If you have questions or would like to learn more about our programs, contact the band office and let us know!
The Wind and Percussion area in the Sunderman Conservatory of Music offers performance opportunities in large and small wind bands, chamber music, jazz, orchestra, and much more.
The Wind Symphony is the premier wind and percussion ensemble in the Sunderman Conservatory of Music. The Sunderman Conservatory Symphony Band meets in the Spring semester; this non-auditioned ensemble features a mix of students and other performers from the college and greater Gettysburg area.
The Bullets Marching Band is one of the few marching bands in Division III athletics and performs at all home football games, the Collegiate Marching Band Festival in Allentown, PA, and other invited events.
