Lina Mora Oviedo

Originally from Colombia, Lina joined Gettysburg College in July 2025 as a Global Study Coordinator. Her interest in international education comes from her study abroad experience as an undergrad in Guadalajara, Mexico. During this time, she had the fantastic opportunity to interact with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, which sparked her curiosity for intercultural communication, a field in which she earned her master’s degree.

As the primary point of contact for CGE’s semester-long partner, exchange, and provider programs, Lina is passionate about supporting students. She is committed to encouraging and guiding them to access global study opportunities, navigate cultural differences, and build meaningful connections worldwide. Lina is actively involved in organizations such as NAFSA and SIETAR and is excited to continue exploring intercultural training in study abroad advising. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, learning languages, and trying new recipes.
