Current Gettysburg College Students

Susan '77 and Joseph Biernat '75 Internship
Semester-long internship in Special Collections devoted to curatorial studies, fine arts and public history. $10.00 per hour, 6-8 hours per week.

Dunlap Family Library Internship
Semester-long internship in the Collections & Technical Services department for a student in any major. This internship provides an opportunity to learn about technical services librarianship, including how the library purchases materials and organizes information. $10.00 per hour, 6-8 hours per week.

Robert ’44 and Esther Kenyon Fortenbaugh ’46 Internships
Semester-long internship in Special Collections and College Archives or the Research and Instruction Department. $10.00 per hour, 6-8 hours per week.

Holley Internship
Semester-long internship rotating through all departments in Musselman Library. This internship provides an opportunity to learn about the field of library and information science. $10.00 per hour, 6-8 hours per week.

Charles H. Glatfelter Internship
Semester-long research internship in Special Collections and College Archives. $10.00 per hour, 6-8 hours per week.

Tricia Smelter '71 Internship
Semester-long internship in Special Collections and College Archives for conservation, museum studies and exhibitions. $10.00 per hour, 6-8 hours per week.

Major General James Milner Roberts and Priscilla Roberts Internship 
Semester-long internship in Special Collections and College Archives for American history research. $10.00 per hour, 6-8 hours per week.

Phillip Warman Internship
Semester-long internship in Special Collections and College Archives devoted to Civil War era research. $10.00 per hour, 6-8 hours per week.

Diane Werley Smith ’73 Special Collections Internship
Summer internship in Special Collections and College Archives. $10.00 per hour, 35 hours per week. Stipend and housing provided.

Digital Humanities Fellowship
Summer fellowship for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors at Gettysburg College to learn Digital Humanities skills and apply them to a public-facing, academic, digital project that uses materials from Special Collections and College Archives, or focuses on Gettysburg College history. Stipend and housing provided.
