How to Select and Request Advancing Science Kits for Visit or Loan:
1. Select Your Resources
Browse the Resource Kit Menu for your grade level—elementary, middle, or high school—to choose activities that support your curriculum. Or, review the Equipment Menu to find materials to support your ideas for lab investigations.
2. Submit a Request
Submit your visit or loan request using the Advancing Science web form. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance; however, earlier submissions are strongly encouraged for the best availability of staff and materials. Please note: Teachers must attend an Advancing Science training before requesting or using program resources.
3. Complete Your Member Profile
Fill out the annual Advancing Science Member Profile. This form is required once per academic year (or once per semester for block-scheduled teachers) - please wait to complete the form until you have your class roster and schedule.
4. Receive Confirmation
Advancing Science staff will send visit or loan confirmation details approximately three weeks before your requested date. If your schedule changes, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule the visit or loan. Resource requests are accepted throughout the school year, but confirmation emails are only sent a few weeks in advance of the requested date.
